Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers
Detailed, careful teaching for a practice that lasts a lifetime.
THE METHOD
Gradual, Sustainable Progress
Iyengar Yoga is a method of practicing asana (the postures) and pranayama (the breath) developed over a lifetime by B.K.S. Iyengar. Students build strength, mobility, and confidence over years, not weeks, and what they learn in class carries into how they stand, sit, and move through the day. Four hallmarks set the method apart:
Precise instruction
Every pose is taught in detail, so you learn how to do it, not just what it looks like. Teachers correct and adjust as you go.
Timings
Poses are held long enough for the body to learn them. This is how strength and stamina are built, and how the mind learns to stay.
Props
Blankets, belts, blocks, and ropes bring awareness to specific parts of the body and make every pose accessible, whatever your age or condition.
Sequencing
Poses are taught in a deliberate order, and each class is different, so over time the body moves through its full range of motion and each pose prepares you for the next.
Our teachers are Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers and teachers in training under their guidance, which means years of study, practice, and assessment before anyone leads a class on their own.
OUR TEACHERS
Linda Di Carlo
Linda Di Carlo, who passed away in May 2025, founded our studio and guided this community with clarity, compassion, and dedication for decades. A devoted Iyengar Yoga teacher for over 50 years, she studied regularly in Pune, taught across the country, and served as an assessor and volunteer for IYNAUS and regional associations.
Linda built communities rooted in support, self-study, and deep practice. Her teaching blended precision and warmth—encouraging students to grow with courage and care.
We carry her teachings with us, and we remain grateful for the light she brought to our practice and our lives.
