Retreats: Time to Go Deeper

A weekly class is the foundation of practice. A retreat is what happens when you give yourself more time than that.

When you step away from your regular schedule and dedicate several days to practice, something shifts. Postures open differently. Concepts that have been just out of reach become clear. The nervous system settles in a way it rarely does during ordinary life. And the experience of practicing alongside other people — eating together, talking between sessions, sharing a quiet morning before class — builds a kind of community that is hard to replicate anywhere else.

Retreats led by Sthira Studios are thoughtfully designed and unhurried. Each day includes morning yoga, afternoon practice or workshops, restorative sessions, time for reflection, and good food. Students often return describing a clarity about their practice — and sometimes about other things too — that stays with them for months.
